Suzanne and I were very happy with all the arrangements and the whole trip to Peru. We just returned home after spending New Year's eve in Japan, which is why my reply to you is delayed.

We had a wonderful time at all the locations we visited. My appreciation and regards to everyone who worked to ensure we had a safe and enjoyable trip. We loved Cuzco, Machu Picchu was awesome, and we really want to come back to Peru soon one day. We would be interested in finding out the best time to visit Northern Peru, Ecuador and the Galapagos islands - do you have any ideas for 2005?

My comments about the trip would be: "It was outstanding!! And really amazing that we could see so much in just 10 days, and have all the arrangements work out so well. Most of your representatives were not only very efficient, helpful and knowledgeable, but also very pleasant to be with."

I am sorry I did not have the opportunity to meet YOU in person, and thank you in person for all the work you did to make our trip happen and also to thank you for helping to quiet our nervous concerns and make us feel comfortable about this big adventure!

I had the thought that while the pictures on the Internet (and our own photos that we took) are great, it would be so nice to have it ALL on a CD to take home with you or have before the trip started. I have a friend who actually puts together CD's of this kind - sort of travelogues or travel-documentaries of various travel destinations. I have told him he must do one of Peru.

President Toledo was the guide. He and his lovely wife personally escorted the show's host on a 5 day, "Royal Tour" of Peru. President Toledo is certainly Peru's number 1 spokesman. We were able to relive our visits to Lima and Machu Picchu.

Pues todo de maravilla, regresamos enamorados de Perú, de lo que más nos gustó te puedo mencionar Machu Picchu que nos pareció un sueño, de verdad que estábamos ahí frente a la ciudadela con el Huayna Picchu de fondo y no lo creíamos.

La selva otra aventura sin igual, además de las actividades propias del lugar y de su encanto natural y exótico, algo que disfrutamos mucho también fue la comida, qué exquisita comida, el chef se lució esos días.

Cuzco también un pueblo muy pintoresco, limpio y la gente es muy amable.

En resúmen: de maravilla, ten por seguro que recomendaré el recorrido con ustedes a mis conocidos. Para recorrer el resto del país, te llamaremos, no tengas duda.

El servicio de ustedes también fue perfecto, todos los servicios de primera en tiempo y forma.

Our first day in Lima was a pleasant surprise to me. We had a wonderful guy (Guillermo) who took Raquel and myself around the city to show us its highlights. He was really pleasant to be with and is very well informed on those subjects I had interest in. Since I had expected to have 20 or 30 people on a big bus for each part of the tour, I was really happy with the personal touch in your package. I wish I had taken time to record all the names of the tour guides and the guys who so punctuality drove us around. They all deserve some recognition for a job well done.

Unfortunately, we could not climb up MachuPichu in second day since Masahiro had bad bad terrible stomachache in the morning. So we are planning to go there again. Also since there were few free time, we would like to go to Peru again anyway.

Our trip to Peru was fabulous. Everything went like "clockwork". The transfers,hotels, and tours were excellent. Enjoy Peru really pulled through. Machu Picchu was breathtaking literally and figuretively. We liked La Paz the least-it seemed so crowded and dangerous. But Lilian (out guide ) was so sweet and through in her explanations. Percy really did take care of us in Cuzco. And I think it was Herman and William in Lima who took care of us. We did not suffer fron altitude sickness at all but I was out of breath quite often. Thank you for all your help.

Do you have a similar organization in Italy? My husband would like to take a trip there with the same structure of our Peru trip. That is being on our own but taken care of with transfers and hotels and tours.

Hi Carlos,

The trip was marvelous. The transportation and connections were near perfect, the hotels wonderful, our guides were interesting and informative. You and Enjoy Peru delivered everything you promised and then some. We found the people in both Peru and Boliva to be very friendly. The food was great everywhere.

We especially enjoyed getting first hand accounts of the history of the pre-Inca cultures, the Inca civilization and the Colonial period. We also were interested in learning about some of the current events and concerns.

I'll speak for myself, but I'd rank the things we saw and learned about in the following order:

1. Machu Pichu.
2. Machu Pichu.
3. Machu Pichu.
4. Lake Titicaca and the floating Islands.
5. The market where Sulema took us. It was not for tourists, but for Andes people to barter for beans, vegetables, meat, etc.
6. Tiawanacu, including the museums.
7. The Lima Museum.
8. Ollantaytambo.
9. Sacsayhuaman.
9. Raqchi.
10. The various churches and cathedrals. We were fascinated by the discussions regarding the current status of the Catholic Church.

We are telling everyone here in the States that they absolutely must visit Peru and Boliva as soon as possible.

Maria, Hotel Liberatador was adequate for our 1evening stay.The hotel Montasterio was more expensive but more than worth the difference. It truely is one of the finest hotels in the world. We stayed there for 2 nights. Peru was amazing-loved the People,Culture,sites and everything about it. Will look you up for our return visit.

Our trip to Peru was very enjoyable! We had a great time! The accommodations were good, especially the El Condado de San Agustin Hostel. The provided meals were excellent! We really enjoyed the dinner and the show on the first night. The excurusions were incredible! I'll never forget Machu Picchu. It has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. Sorry this reply is delayed. 3 days after we returned from Peru, we moved, so things were pretty busy.

Once again, thank you for arranging such a wonderful tour. Your staff were all very professional and made our trip a great experience. They always arrived on time, and made us feel as if we were the first tourists they ever dealt with! There was a mix-up when we arrived in Puno because the guide thought we would see Lake Titicaca the next day. When we told him we were leaving the next day, he quickly made arrangements to take us to the lake that afternoon. It turned out great because we were the only visitors there at that time. We did end up having our flight delayed in Juliaca and had to wait 8 hours, but that was because of the airline. We had amazing experiences and once again, your staff were great. I will certainly tell others about Enjoy Peru!

The people I met were friendly and very tolerant of my poor Spanish! The hotel in Lima was fine- the staff were courteous and helpful. I definitely plan to visit Peru again.

De vuelta en casa, luego del más emocionante que difícil enlace internacional, paso a comentarte nuestra visita al Perú.

En primer lugar debo felicitar a vuestra organización, Enjoy Perú, por la realización de nuestro tour. En cada momento obtuvimos lo que habíamos solicitado en el intercambio de sugerencias e informaciones vía e-mail que sostuvimos durante los meses anteriores al viaje. De esta forma se cumplieron todas las expectativas en alojamientos, no sólo por la disponibilidad de los hoteles escogidos sino también por el tipo y calidad de las habitaciones que siempre se ajustaron a lo solicitado.

Lo mismo puedo decir de los servicios de transporte, guías y visitas que se cumplieron en forma privada excepto los que, por su naturaleza, ya habían quedado programados como standard.

La sola dificultad fue el incumplimiento general por parte de LAN de los vuelos y horarios programados que condujo a cancelaciones, adelantos y retrasos a veces incómodos. Por supuesto que estas dificultades fueron no solo ajenas a Enjoy Perú sino que, gracias al seguimiento cuidadoso por parte de Sandra, fueron controladas y se tomaron las medidas oportunas para que no repercutieran en las actividades previstas.

En cuanto al contenido de los 21 días de viaje debo decir que ha sido excepcional tanto en el aspecto arqueológico como paisajístico y humano. Como elementos descollantes debo destacar el Museo de Tumbas Reales en Lambayeque, la Huaca de la Luna en Trujillo, la cruz del Cóndor en el Cañón del Colca, el amanecer en el lago Titicaca desde la suite del Hotel Libertador y la totalidad del área del Cuzco desde la propia ciudad hasta, como no, el Machu Pichu con el alojamiento en el Sanctuary Lodge permitiendo visitar las ruinas cuando la mayoría de visitantes lo han abandonado.

En general todos los comentarios son muy positivos. Disfrutamos mucho este viaje y el plan que nos propusieron fue muy completo. Siempre falta un poco más de tiempo para visitar con más detalle cada sitio, pero en general fue suficiente y muy bien aprovechado. El servicio fue increible, todas las personas con las que tuvimos contacto fueron muy atentas y cordiales, en especial en el hotel en Cusco. La persona que nos guió en el city tour fue muy amable y además demuestra una gran pasión y cariño por la historia de su país (fue ella quien nos recomendó la visita de las Dunas en Paracas y el planetario en Ica), lo que complementa mucho la forma de disfrutar la visita.

Por todo lo anterior les estamos muy agradecimos y a todos los que hemos platicado del viaje les hemos recomendado sus servicios. En Mexico aun existe bastante desconfianza por el contrato de servicios por internet, pero con ustedes tenemos la plena confianza para seguir recomendándolos. Tal vez el siguiente año mis padres puedan realizar un viaje similar.

Thank you for your kind email. We had an amazing travel through Peru. What fantastic things we saw and did! It was an unforgettable trip. The jungle tour was definately one of the highlights. The overwhelming nature was great. We had a nice guide and staying at sinchicui was very good. Very nice room and a good relaxed atmosphere there. Especially at night with the oil-lamps and all the sounds from the jungle.

Now normal life has started again(we came home three weeks ago).

The hotels were all well chosen - not the most luxurious (or most expensive) but usually small, friendly and well run. In particular, the El Roble Hostal in Arequipa was exceptional and the people there could not have been more helpful.

The trips were all successful and the guides excellent. More or less all the arrangements - and there were lots of them - went off without a hitch and Percy in particular in Cuzco was extremely helpful and friendly as was Franz in Bolivia whose help getting across the border was much appreciated and needed.

I must say that we did have slight worries about arranging everything over the internet and by email with a company we had never heard of but you did us proud and we would happily recommend your services.

I can't believe it has already been over three weeks since our Peru trip!. I have to admit I was worried about how the whole trip would really go since I had never booked a trip through the internet etc.....Your company totally came through! Janet, you were great with all the arrangements. Getting us into the Santuary Lodge was the ultimate! Monastario Hotel was awesome and having the private guides all along the way was wonderful!

Each were so informative but yet kept it so interesting for my three sons (18, 16, 16yrs). Everything that you booked all worked out perfectly....whitewater rafting, great van at our disposal with a very accommodating drivers, willing to stop for our many photo stops!

Everything was so professionally handled right down to seats on the plane, train with our family of 6 all sitting together each time, the three rooms in each of the hotels were great as close as possible to each other too. We are back from our tour of peru and everything was wonderful. We had someone there every time we needed. The Inka Trail with Willy Jones as our guide was so amazing I cant put it into words. The porters were so kind and Willy was extremely fun and knowledgeable. I purposed marrage at the top of "dead womans pass" and it was unforgettable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Manu was also amazing in a different way. Rafting was safe and fun and the amazon forest is breathtaking!!

We were very pleased with our trip to Peru. Transportation and day tours worked out very well. The lodging in both Lima and Cusco was excellent. The guides did a very good job and we were impressed at how knowledgeable and informative they were. Machu Picchu was even more spectacular than I expected. We enjoyed the train ride to Machu Picchu and looking at a newsletter on the train, it looks like there are some other good train rides to see parts of Peru.

Probably in another year or so my wife and I will be interested in returning to Peru for some additional travels. Based on the way this trip was arranged, we would want to see about setting up a custom itinerary that would include some overnight stays in the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, upper Amazon basin, and Lake Titicata. Also I am very interested in geology and would be interested if there are any mines that offer tours. While we were in Lima, we visited a rock shop that had beautiful pyrite and quartz crystal specimens from some of the gold and silver mines. We would likely go to La Paz and to Santiago.

Thank you for your email. I thought the restaurants were all very good and I also enjoyed Machu Picchu tremendously. It's really alot bigger than any photo can relate. It was worth everything just to get there.

** I also liked your tour representative in Cusco very much. His name was Percy and he was great. He was always very helpful and really stood up for me when the Libertador was giving me a hard time at check-in...(because immigration stamp in my passport was too light to photocopy). I should have left him a bigger tip ( can I send him a tip through your office?) I should have used my spare time in Cusco looking for some business opportunities. There are lots of things I should have bought to bring back to the USA to re-sell.

Nos leíste el pensamiento ya que justo este fin de semana hablamos con toda nuestra familia por aquí sobre las bonitas vacaciones que pasamos.

Mis suegros y mi esposo han regresado encantados con lo bello que es el Perú. No tenemos ninguna queja sobre la organización ya que pasamos un mes fabuloso, todos estuvimos sorprendidos por la rápidez con la que trataron los pequeños detalles que les pedimos como tener asientos adelante cuando se trataba de autobus, etc.

Incluso mis suegros que viajan bastante al extranjero sobre todo a Asia o Europa del Este me dijeron que ha sido la primera vez que se llevan una gran satisfacción a 100% de una agencia y es peruana!!

Gracias el embarazo va bien, no tuve ningún problema salvo las clásicas naúseas por la mañana, el bebito soportó bien los 4,850 metros tanto en Huaraz como en Colca y la escalada en Huayna Picchu.

Sobre nuestras impresiones: si tendríamos que recomendar un hotel en Lima a los futuros viajeros es el FARAONA HOTEL ya que la atención de sus empleados y sobre todo el PISCO SOUR es único (dice mi esposo y suegros).

Sobre nuestro circuito estuvimos satisfechos de haber podido apreciar el norte del Perú, poco turístico pero encantador y nos fuimos encantados después de haber visitado Huaraz y sobre todo CHAVIN (qué bonito!)con un guía excelente y muy interesante. Así pudimos comprender y apreciar aún más el Cusco.

En el Cusco, mis suegros (60 y 67 años) mi esposo y yo (aunque con casi 3 meses de embarazo) subimos a Huayna Picchu (un poco cansado pero vale la pena) de donde pudimos apreciar todo Machu Picchu con un super paisaje y un sol maravilloso.

Estuvimos contentos de haber podido quedarnos dos días en Aguas Calientes ya que pudimos escalar Huayna Picchu, bajar al Templo de la Luna y mi esposo pudo ir hasta la Puerta del Sol para ver Machu Picchu de otro ángulo.

Creo que me alargué mucho, todo para decirles muchas gracias y si podemos volveremos el próximo año para visitar la Amazonía. Sepan que aquí en Francia recomendaremos su agencia ya que debo confesar que al principio tuvimos un cierto temor pero ahora estamos satisfechos de nuestra elección ENJOY PERU. El hecho de haber podido hacer un circuito privado nos permitió apreciar mejor todo e incluso mi suegra fanática de las fotos está contentísima de haber podido elegir los lugares y paisajes que más le gustaron.

I apologise for the delay in my reply. It took us a while to catch up with daily life as we are still enthralled with Peru thanks to your excellent service. We are very happy with the way the trip was planned and run. Our guides were prompt, very knowledgeable and wonderful people to meet. We enjoyed all of the tours and learned an incredible amount about your beautiful country.

We would like to thank especially Pavel for his extraodrinary energy and resourcefulness when we got stuck in Machu Piccu due to the mudslides. Pavel went above and beyond his duties to help us with information about the evacuation options as well as people we should contact in Aguas Calientes. He was available at all times and helped calm us at this time of crisis. Once we arrived in Cusco, he helped us reach Puno and catch up with our tour there. We are very grateful for his efforts and his help. We felt taken care of and that is an invaluable feeling for travellers. He is a great man to have in a travel agency and he solidified our conviction that Enjoy Peru is the best way to explore the country.

I have already recommended Enjoy Peru to some of my friends interested in travelling to this part of the world and will continue recommending your services. I feel that your trips are well planned, exceptionally well executed and your customer service is outstanding. Buena Carlos, tenia pensado escribirte, lo que pasa es que hasta ayer no vine a trabajar, porque al día siguiente de llegar de Perú, me puse malo con una gastroenteritis.

Nos ha encatado vuestro país, incluso más de lo que esperábamos. Todo en su conjunto, la gente nos ha parecido fabulosa, la comida peruana nos ha encantado, y la ciudad de Cuzco es preciosa, pero lo mejor fue el quedarse a dormir una noche en Aguas Calientes, el estar rodeado de las montañas era impresionante, para mí es una imagen que se me quedará grabado para siempre.

De vuestros servicios hemos salido encantados, súper profesionales, muy atentos siempre de nosotros y de nuestras necesidades, tanto de los representantes de las agencias en cada destino, como el personal de los hoteles en donde hemos dormido.

Para nosotros era nuestro 4to. viaje saliendo fuera de Europa, y como organización ha sido el mejor de todos, con nosotros habéis ganado unos representantes de vuestro maravilloso país y de vosotros como agencia.

Te voy a pedir una cosa, a ver si me puedes ayudar. Para el mes de octubre me gustaría hacer la " ruta maya ", yo los vuelos los saco muy baratos en España, entonces me gustaría saber si conocéis alguna agencia que me recomendéis que realice la ruta maya.

We had an absolutely marvelous time!

Delia, our guide to Machu Picchu, was particularly noteworthy and made the trip especially meaningful to both my family and I. All of our connections and accommodations exceeded expectations. The only thing we would have changed would have been to stay longer! (One question, I ended up not being asked for the Train / Machu Picchu Tour voucher by anyone, so I discarded it.)

We were very saddened by the news of a mudslide near Machu Picchu shortly after we left, that resulted in several injuries and fatalities.
Hopefully, no one in your company was effected.

Thanks again for working with us to customize the arrangements. We went on very successfully to the Galapagos Islands where we also had a fantastic stay.

Good morning Carlos,

We had a wonderful time in Peru. I just returned to work this morning and was delighted to see your email waiting for me. Peru is a very beautiful and diverse country and we found the people to be very friendly and accommodating. We were so impressed at the wonderful job you did in organizing everything for us. Everything was taken care of. The activities you booked for us were very entertaining and educational.

Spending 4 nights in the Amazon jungle - we saw toucans, sloths, various monkeys, snakes, iguanas, pink dolphins, piranhas and many other animals and insects. We observed 500 year old trees, fire ants, termites and more bird species (including humming birds) than one can count. Our guide, Ricardo, was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. We really appreciated being in a small group 3 tourists to 1 guide. The accommodations were very comfortable and all the meals - made by the local staff - were delicious.

Our hotel in Paracas was on very beautiful grounds and we had an enjoyable stay. Our guide was waiting for us when we arrived and took us on a full afternoon Dune Buggy ride through the desert consevation area. There were many beautiful sights and we even stopped at a beautiful beach and took a dip in the Pacific Ocean. Our guide then brought us to a nice little seaside restaurant for a 'fresh catch' meal. The Ballesta Island was beautiful. We were impressed at the number of sea lions, penguins and birds that nest there.

The Nazca Lines were impressive and we were happy to have the opportunity to fly over them. It's hard to imagine the size of them until you actually see them for yourself. We stayed at the Nazca Lines hotel - where Maria Reich lived for many years - and had the opportunity to visit the planetarium. We found it very informative.

Cuzco was beautiful and lush. Everything was gorgeous, green and mountainous. We adapted to the altitude fairly rapidly and adored our accommodations in the Colonial room at Novotel. Machu Picchu was so impressive. We adored our train ride as we got to see parts of the Inca trail, glaciers and other ruins. Absolutely everything at Machu Picchu seemed to have a purpose. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to visit.

Miraflores and Lima were also very beautiful. The cliffs are so impressive and were only a couple of blocks from the hotel where we were staying.

We would like to say a big, huge THANK YOU to you. Everything was perfectly organized - from the transfers to and from the airports, to the hotels, activities... - We'd like to have someone with your knowledge, helpfulness and kindness to organize all of our trips and it truly was fabulous. Again, THANK YOU. I would recommed that anyone planning a trip to Peru book though Enjoy Peru. No regrets at all - seriously.

2 Machu Picchu - Good guide, good hotel at Aguas Calientas - Hotel Presdente. We were very pleased that we decided to stay overnight and get the early bus back up as I think a day trip is not enough for such a marvellous experience.

3 Sacred Valley - Again a wonderful tour. Excellent guide, excellent lunch at El Ma izal.

We felt very sad to be going home as visiting Peru was a truly wonderful experience. I think I left a little part of my heart there. Once again thank you for your care and organisation.

Te agradecemos, los 5 miembros de la familia, el que nos hayas hecho posible este viaje tan fantástico, sobre todo tomando en cuenta que con tan sólo 2 semanas de anticipación nos pudiste ofrecer un viaje adecuado a nuestos requerimientos y restricciones de tiempo. Nunca lo creí y menos con una compañía que trabaja sólo con "La Web".

Sé que fue mucho pedir en una semana, (iniciando a media semana) , el poder abarcar Lima con sus Iglesias, sus conventos, el río, el puente, San Isidro, Miraflores, El Mar y el Museo Arqueológico, Arequipa con sus iglesias y sobre todo el convento de Sta. Catalina, Puno, Las islas en el Lago Titicaca (Los Uros y Taquile) el altiplano, la cultura Pukara, la ciudad de Raqchi, Andahuaylillas, Cusco y sus iglesias, el complejo Koricancha, Tipón, la fortaleza de Ollantaytambo, el barrio de San Blas etc, y sobre todo la visita a la montaña vieja, Machu Picchu.

El resultado fue muy satisfactorio, todo salió bien, a tiempo y con calidad. Los 3 tours-viajes privados, uno de Arequipa a Puno con la muy atenta y conocedora "Beatriz", el de Puno a Cusco con el "Inka Express", así como el de Lima con el muy conocedor y profesional "César". Todos ellos muy buenos y didactas guías. Lucrecia en Puno conoce su guión y es muy voluntariosa. Pero si los he de calificar, el mejor de todos nos pareció "Freddy" en el Cusco, por su conocimiento profundo, su empeño por dar a conocer la cultura de su país y su entusiasmo por su lengua y cultura.

No podemos olvidar tus atenciones por esperarnos hasta la madrugada en el aereopuerto, ni las atenciones de Pabel en Cusco.

En fin que todo estuvo muy bien y mi familia y Yo te lo agradecemos. Ya en el camino tuvimos la oportunidad de recomendar a Enjoy Perú a otros coterráneos mexicanos.
