El otro día repondía a tu correo pero en el momento de enviártelo se me cortó Internet y no sé sí se ha llegado. Como no lo tenía en copia, procuraré repetírtelo.

En él decía poco más o menos, que me había encantado tu País. Cusco es inigualable, aquellas casa, aquellas ruinas, aquellos palacios, aquella plaza, los templos destruídos, los alrededores.... qué te voy a decir. El hotel era una joya, la atención estupenda. Me hubiera gustado quedarme más días allí.

Machu Pichu indescriptible, hay que verlo y saborearlo como hicimos nosotros. Solo una pega, deberíais de cerrarlo, no puede ser que un poblado hecho para 600 personas, pasen por él miles al día.

Lo poco que vimos de Lima, impresionante, la Plaza de Armas, la de San Martín, el Hotel Bolivar.... Puedo asegurarte que no hay en España una plaza tan bonita como la de Armas.

La de Cusco, Pizarro la hizo imitando a la de su pueblo que tan bien es muy bella, pero no se puede comparar.

La atención en todo momento fue muy buena y los que nos atendieron eran muy amables nos dieron toda clase de explicaciones culturales.

Disculpa que no te haya escrito antes pero realmente debido a mis vacaciones pues he tenido muchos pendientes y en estas fechas además se junta los eventos navideños que por ser de Recursos humanos he tenido que coordinar pero aquí estoy en un momento que tengo oportunidad contestandote.

Realmente fué una experiencia EXCELENTE y PADRISIMA que quiero agradecerte por haberla coordinado para cumplir al 100% con mis exigencias aunque te soy franca realmente superaron mis expectativas y mira que soy muy exigente. La impresión que me deja este viaje es que Perú esun lugar impersionante por su belleza, cultura y servicio la disponibilidad así como el cariño con que te reciben los peruanos. Adicionalmente aún y cuando fuí sola quiero que sepas que no hubo ningún momento en que me sentí sola porque todos los guías sin excepción en todo momento eran cordiales así como los hostales en que me hospede cumplian con los requerimientos ya que eran limpios y acogedores.

En estos momentos siento que me gustaría regresar porque por un lado me gustaron todos los lugares que conocí pero a su vez me dí cuenta en mi estancia por allá que Perú tiene muchos lugares más que ofrecer.

Gracias a Enjoy Perú porque me ayudaron a llevar a cabo esta inolvidable experiencia que me gustaría en un futuro no muy lejano repetir.

Por cierto ustedes como empresa sólo trabajan el área turistica de Perú ó su alcance incluye otros países ?

Valio la pena el tour privado, mi amigo no iba al Peru en 22 anos (yo casis cada ano) y le encanto. Piensa traer a su familia de visita.

Tambien estuvimos con una 4 runner en el desierto de Ica en camping por nuestra cuenta, tanbien fue excellente.

Thank you for the note and for organizing a great trip for us. We enjoyed Lima, the Miraflores Park hotel with the fabulous views, the sights along the coast, the market near Chinatown, the area around the Plaza des Armas, and the delicious food. Machu Picchu was wonderful and we were glad to have stayed at the Sanctuary Lodge so we could enjoy the ruins at sunset and sunrise. All of our guides were knowledgeable and provided good tours.

Special thanks to Percy, your Cusco manager, who met us at the Monasterio Hotel the night before and the morning of our flight to Iquitos. Thanks also to Jose Carlos who met us at the Lima airport for our transfer to the Iquitos flight.

Overall, we found Peru to be a treasure of beautiful sights, good food, and warm, friendly people eager to help. My favourite memories are of the children in the Amazon villages and the vendors in Lima's covered market near Chinatown. We also appreciated the cleanliness of Lima and never felt unsafe.

Con mucho gusto, paso a comentarte los detalles de la organización del viaje. Procuraré seguir el orden en el que hicimos el viaje, para no despistarme.

En el aeropuerto de Viru Viru de Santa Cruz en Bolivia, tuvimos la oportunidad de adelantar el vuelo y así no quedarnos toda la mañana por el aeropuerto. Al llegar a La Paz, llamé por teléfono a Alex Monroy para ver si nos podía recoger antes de la hora prevista y así lo hizo, personalmente, llevándonos al hotel, no sin antes hacernos acertados comentarios y consejos durante el trayecto hasta el hotel. Una vez allí, nos explicó los detalles de nuestra estancia en Bolivia. La guía asignada para el city tour, Juliana, excelente, que chica más maja, después del city tour nos la llevamos a tomar un mate. El conductor de la movilidad, también excelente, pero ya olvidé su nombre! El Hotel en La Paz estaba dentro de la categoría que había contratado, y , por lo que pudimos ver paseando por la ciudad, de lo mejor que hay allá. El city tour, muy bien organizado, creo que vimos todo lo mejor de La Paz y un poco más. El trayecto hasta Desaguadero se desarrolló con total normalidad. Juliana nos iba comentando los lugares por donde ibamos pasando y atendiendo nuestras preguntas y dudas con toda atención. La visita a Tiwanaku fue muy instructiva y la guía nos preparó para lo que ibamos a ver después en Perú. Es comprensible el estado del centro cultural de Tiwanaku, a la vista del nivel de vida de los bolivianos, que seguro tienen otras necesidades que atender antes de ponerse a pagar excavaciones sin duda carísimas, pero creo que tienen una mina de oro bajo sus pies y el centro arqueológico me recordó a lo que había visto en Chichen Itzá, en Mexico, y desde luego en cuanto terminen las excavaciones arqueológicas allá, será un centro turístico mundial de primer orden. La llegada a la frontera, en Desaguadero, fue algo así como cruzar el salvaje oeste americano, y menos mal que Juliana nos acompañó hasta el Control de Inmigración, porque sino a estas horas todavía andaríamos buscándolo. Bueno de hecho, nos acompañó hasta el otro lado de la frontera donde ya nos esperaba nuestra guia, el chófer y la movilidad. Si tienen viajeros con espíritu aventurero, sigan ofreciendo Desaguadero, pero para viajeros con demasiados escrúpulos, mejor háganlos pasar por la carretera Norte.

En general nuestra estancia en Bolivia fue entrañable, el trato recibido por el personal de su agencia me pareció en todo momento amable, educado, diligente y hasta le diría que familiar, con lo cual solo tengo los mejores calificativos para todos ellos, asi que, le estaría muy agradecido si les hiciera llegar nuestra más sincera felicitación. Por cierto, podrías pasarme la dirección Email de Juliana? Es que con la despedida se nos olvidó pedírsela...

Bueno voy a tener que ir resumiendo porque sino voy a escribirte un libro...

Puno: El viaje por carretera se hizo cómodo gracias a la excelente movilidad. El Hotel en Puno, E X C E L E N T E. Bravo por su elección Daniel! Los precios de los servicios (lavandería, room service, cafetería) del Colon Inn están dentro de la media, y funciona muy bien organizado. El trato es cortés y atento. Los guías, chóferes y transportes usados en Puno estuvieron al nivel que me esperaba: aspecto aseado, puntuales, cordiales y diligentes. Inolvidable también la visita a Siwac Wasi. La excursión de día completo al Lago Titikaka, fenomenal, con recogida de ida y vuelta al hotel, dentro del horario previsto, y además tuvimos un día de sol fantástico, que más se puede pedir? Pues una cena en un restaurante popular que había al lado del hotel, donde no solo comimos estupendamente por 3.75 soles, sino que además hicimos buenos amigos peruanos, entre cusqueña y cusqueña.

Cuzco: El hotel en Cuzco era muy bueno y el personal también excelente, y el lugar donde se ubica, perfecto. Un 10 para todo el personal de su agencia que nos recogió de la estación de autobuses, nos trasladó al hotel, nos explicó los detalles de nuestra estancia en Cuzco y nos llevó al aeropuerto el último día. El city tour comenzó en el Convento de Santo Domingo a una hora en la que había demasiada gente alla, así que la guía, después de consultar a todo el grupo, decidió invertir el orden del tour por la ciudad, quizás improvisando demasiado, con lo que se nos hechó la tarde encima y se hizo, en general, apresuradamente. La excursión de día completo por el Valle Sagrado, muy interesante y bien organizada.

Además, el primer día de llegar a Cuzco ya me esperaba la maleta que me había extraviado la aerolínea, obra de la Srta. Otárola, que además de eficaz es hermosa...

Lima: El hotel elegido está a 20 minutos del parque central, y está dentro de la categoría que habíamos elegido. Aunque al principio nos pareció que estaba alejado del centro de Lima, despues del city tour, nos dimos cuenta que Miraflores y San Agustín son los mejores lugares donde pasear e ir de compras en Lima. Decidimos adelantar la hora del city tour, y la agencia respondió al momento, con una diligencia que todavía me sorprende gratamente.

Mi impresión general respecto de la organización del viaje, como ves es muy buena. El nivel de preparación de los guías es muy alto. El personal auxiliar, muy correcto y puntual. Los hoteles en los que hemos estado, se ajustan a lo contratado y especialmente en Puno, quizás más. Las comidas y los servicios de los hoteles se ajustan a su categoría. Los transportes privados de la Agencia son espaciosos, cómodos y limpios. Los itinerarios escogidos y las excursiones, dan una visión bastante completa del país. La organización ha demostrado ser muy flexible a la hora de improvisar un cambio de horario o un cambio de servicio. El seguimiento y la atención personalizada ha sido excelente. El precio que hemos pagado por todo el viaje, comparado con el servicio que hemos recibido, nos parece económico (pero esto, no se lo digas a tu jefe). Solo lamento no haber tenido más tiempo para viajar otros 15 días.

Esta es la primera vez que contrato un viaje de esta forma, a través de internet y prácticamente reorganizado a partir de un primer producto. Tenía bastantes dudas respecto a la organización del personal y de los servicios contratados, dado que habíamos retocado bastante el plan original, hasta el punto de darle la vuelta por completo. Además me había decidido por una Agencia peruana, para conocer cómo funcionan allá, y desde luego que estoy impresionado, concretamente con Enjoy Perú, sobre todo después de observar cómo los viajeros de otras agencias (internacionales la mayoría) estaban un poco desamparados y en alguna ocasión en algún apuro. Nadie me había recomendado su Agencia, ni tampoco la había visto publicitada en ningún sitio. No dude que la recomendaré a familiares y amigos.

Te ruego que hagas llegar nuestro agradecimiento a todo el personal que nos atendió durante el viaje, a Juliana, Alex, Sue, Percy, a todos los demás cuyos nombres he olvidado ya, y por supuesto a tí Daniel, sin cuya dedicación hubiera sido imposible realizar el que ha sido, por el momento, el mejor viaje que haya hecho.

We can recommend your agency in every way. I particular we were extremely impressed by your flexibility to organize a hotel room in Lima on the 21st of october on such a short notice without additional costs for us.

All hotels, guides and services were perfect. I was especially impressed by Olantaytambo and the tmeple city on our way from Cuzco to Puno, whilst I think that one doesn`t need two days in Machu Pichu. Fo me as a railway fan, more awareness should be given to the train ride to Machu Pichu.

On the Titicacca lake it was a great idea to find a hotel outside of Puno.

I am sure, that we will return to South America in the next couple of years may be to Argentina, Patagonia or to Galapagos. I am also curious to see the rain forrest, but I am also aware, that we probably saw the "easiest" part of Peru.

When my family gives me a mandate I will return to Enjoy but I am also interested in receiving actual informations and proposals from your side.

We are back home from a wonderful trip to your beautiful country. The sights were spectacular and so varied. From the jungle to the mountains. From sea shore to lakes and rivers. It was such a treat.

We were especially impressed with the friendlyness of your people. We had exceptional guides whereever we went and would like to make note of two of them. The first was Marco at our jungle experience. He was so knowlegdeable, cooperative and sincere.

The other was Arturo Quiroz who helped us through thru the rest of our journey. We are even in hopes of seeing him in the states if he can get the chance to come here. You are inviteded too.

I'm fine thanks and you? The hotel was really good with a very kind staff and big rooms. I had a great trip in Peru and Bolivia and met so many nice people.

One of the best things was sandboarding (and eating) on our way to Nasca and the 'Chicha evenings' in several small villages ... see photo :-) After this my stomach was well trained.

So I hope to go one day back and visit the northern part and the Amazon region.

Tal como me dijo mi hermana que fue hace dos meses al Perú, los servicios de turismo son excelentes, puntuales, bien organizados. En Lima, mi hermana y yo caminamos desde el Hotel hasta Larcomar, paseamos y tomamos un taxi recomendado por una joven muy amable que tiene una tienda gourmet allí, el cual resultó ser lo que necesitabamos. Nos llevó por la Plaza de Armas, La Plaza San Martín, muy bellas ambas aunque no nos bajamos. Luego fuimos al Jokey Plaza y por último a cenar a la Rosa Naútica. A la hora y media el taxista nos recogió en ese lugar y de allí al Hotel.

Cusco resultó ser como pensaba, hermoso, colonial, con mucha historia. Hugo fue un coordinador excelente y sumamente atento. Quedamos encantadas con sus servicios y el de los guías del city tour y de Machu Pichu. Lo único que me decepcionó un poquito fue que en Aguas Calientes, los mosquitos me picaron mucho de día.

Acá en Panamá en las áreas en donde hay mosquitos estos salen de noche. Allí en Aguas Calientes salimos de noche y todo perfecto y al día siguiente se dieron banquete conmigo y se me pusieron muy feas, se me inflamaron. Me parece que se le debe advertir muy especialmente al turista, que el repelente no es unicamente para la ciudadela. Ya sé que mi hijo nunca podrá visitar Machu Pichu porque es alérgico a las picadas de mosquitos y se hubiera puesto grave allá. Por lo demás, disfrutamos mucho, conocimos bastante, sobre todo mi hermana y yo que estuvimos más días que la familia Ruso. Tenemos fotografías preciosas que revelamos allá mismo porque salen super baratas y las revelan en un momentito. No nos afectó el mal de altura porque tomamos todas las precauciones que nos advirtieron. Dieta de pollo el primer dia, descanso, caminar suave, etc.

Por último quiero agradecerte tu excelente coordinación para que nuestra estadía fuera segura y muy agradable.

Hi Carlos,

We had a very good trip. All the transfers were on time. We never had to wait for anyone. The guides were all knowledgeable; Maoro in Cusco was probably the best. We never felt rushed by him and he took us off the beaten track when we wanted. He was in tune with us and showed us a somewhat personal face of Peru which was wonderful.

All the hotels were good. Los Andes in Cusco was very noisy and were not very understanding but the third day (under protest) they moved us to much quieter rooms which were very nice. The hotels were all near the main squares in town and I never felt unsafe in Peru. The hotel in Puno had amazing service. I got altitude sickness and they called me an English speaking doctor who arrived within 15 minutes, they had my prescriptions delivered to my door and even sent some chicken soup to my room. I didn't ask for any of this, they went out of there way to be helpful. All the hotels and restaurants had great service I must say. Really don't have anything negative to say.

No se si te acoradarás de mi.... Contratamos nuestro viaje de bodas con vosotros y después de tanto tiempo me vuelvo a poner en contacto contigo por varias cuestiones:

- En primer lugar disculparme por no haberte contestado a tiempo. Suele pasar que cuando vuelves de un viaje tan lindo, te encuentras con muchísimo trabajo y los primeros días de vuelta son realmente estresantes.

Después lo vas dejando, y a pesar que te acuerdas cada vez que ves en la televisión algo de Perú, te recuerdas que tienes algo pendiente. Ruego encarecidamente que nos perdonéis.

- Los comentarios de Perú, desde mi punto de vista y el de mi mujer se pueden resumir en una sóla palabra: "FANTASTICO". Mis felicitaciones en la parte que os toca y también quisiera felicitar a todas las agencias con las que trabajáis. El circuito fue increíble y desde Lima, Paracas, Nazca, Arequipa, Puno, Cusco y hasta Puerto Maldonado el viaje fue realmente espectacular. Felicidades por ese país tan maravilloso que tenéis que tanto nos encandiló. Nos hemos prometido que algún día volveremos, porque cada vez que vemos algo de Perú (desde el Machu Picchu hasta la selva) se nos pone la piel de gallina, recordando los días tan lindos que alli pasamos.

We have now arrived safely back in the UK after what has been a fabulous trip to Peru.

The services provided by your company and selection of local travel agencies to conduct various tours and activities were good. During various transfers between cities it was comforting to know that someone would be waiting for us at the other end to take us to our hotel.

The highlight of our trip was probably the Inca Trail. We felt that we had a good guide (Hipolita - hopefully we have spelt his name correctly) who was not only knowledgeable about Inca history but also about local flora & fauna.

Do you think it would be possible to arrange a 4 day trip to Manu to arrive back in Lima with sufficient time for the flight back on September 12th at 8.45pm - in case of flight delays if we travel to Manu by flight. Or is better to go to Manu from Cuzco by coach -much cheaper. Would it be possible to arrange a flight from Manu to Lima, or would it be easier-cheaper to go by bus from Manu to Cuzco and get a flight from Cuzco to Manu. If this is possible how much would it cost. I am free to travel to Manu from Sept 5th- Sept 12th.

I must say it was a wonderful trip and well worth the time and travel as Peru has many things to see and visit. Of course, I have always wanted to visit Macchu Picchu so a dream was fulfilled.

Carlos, the trip was well organized and structured so that we were always met and assisted. Congratulations on having such an efficient organization and a crew of exceptional people who work with you. The services offered and the trips, excursions were well thought out and planned. The hotels were fine and the Casa Andina hotels very nice as well.

I would certainly recommend EnjoyPeru to anyone thinking of visiting your country and would use you again for other visits to South America. I have enjoyed working with you as you took the time to answer questions and show concern for our travels. The treasures of Peru were a wonder to behold and my pictures and words will be shown to others.

Speaking only for me as my two traveling companions were not affected but I think in trips such as these I would ask for an additional day in the middle of the trip in which nothing is scheduled. Call it a day of rest. However, that is not your concern as it could have been requested.

We returned back to California from Peru today. We had a wonderful time in Peru, thanks to Enjoy Peru. I would especially like to thank you for the few days in Cusco when we were making backup plans since we were thinking of cancelling our Inca Trail hike. You and Enjoy Peru were extremely helpful and it really helped to know that we would not be stranded without a hotel during high season in Cusco.

Thank you for calling us on the 8th and 9th of August about alternative arrangements. I am sorry that we did not call you earlier on the 9th of August. (We spoke with our Inca Trail guide from 7-8pm on the 9th, and he gave Ashish a lot of confidence. Only then did we commit to continuing with our plans to hike.)

Fortunately, we were able to complete the Inca Trail hike successfully. It was tough but very beautiful and we are so glad that we had the opportunity to walk to Machu Picchu rather than visiting by train/bus.

All through our trip, we received excellent care from Enjoy Peru. The hotels were very comfortable, and the tours were all well organized and communication of information was always very good. Pickups and dropoffs were always on time. We will remember our visit for a lifetime. I have an evaluation form from Enjoy Peru that I will fill and mail in a couple of days. Thank you for all your help for a wonderful vacation. I will recommend Enjoy Peru if anyone asks me.

At each Casa Andina hotel that we stayed, I checked out the paintings in the hallways and our rooms. They are beautiful and I assume they are all done by your wife. The paintings portray the beauty of Peruvian life and people.

The staff at Cusco were marvelous. They almost felt like family. One employee, Hugo, (I believe he is related to you), was superb. A message I would like him to have, is that I forgot to take his picture, and for the album I am making of my trip I would really appreciate a picture of him (not like a passport picture) perhaps one from a digital that could be sent via the internet.

Punctuality was amazing. Your group was always on time, which was a surprise to both me and my husband.

By the way, I was really happy with the extra day at Paracas. The hotel was extraordinary, and we had a junior suite. --- a wonderful ending to our vacation.

El Hotel Don Carlos resultó una opción muy buena para descansar y disfrutar de la piscina, nos trataron muy bien; pero donde realmente estuvimos como en casa fue en Corto Maltes con todo su equipo, ha sido fantástico: el lugar, los bungalows, el trato, la comida!!, los guias.... Perfecto y muy recomendable para futuras visitas de amigos.

Por cierto, tambien agradecer a Pabel que nos facilitara el contacto de Anita Velasco en la estación, pues sin esa referencia no hubiéramos podido visitar Machu Picchu. Muchas gracias, de veras...

Our trip to Peru was amazing! It was better than we ever dreamed it would be. You must be deeply thanked for helping us make all the arrangements and helping us to see as much as we could. It was such a relief to be in a foreign country and see our name on the placard and know that we would be transported right to our hotel. I am not a very seasoned traveler and this help really eased my mind and helped me to relax and enjoy the trip. The people who met us and transported us were friendly and informative, very helpful and thorough. The transfers were great..comfortable and got us right where we needed to be!

You do need to know that we really did like the fantastic buffets and their locations. They were decadent and yet we really did appreciate them. We especially liked our hotel in Cusco! It was wonderful and the staff there were very good to us. The rooms and baths were so large and comfortable.

We enjoyed all of the tours. The guides were well informed, but you have one who is OUTSTANDING and he made our trip the trip of a lifetime! SILVER was fantastic! He spoke English so well and was so knowledgeable about so many aspects of your country. He was warm and gentle, kind and encouraging. His quiet ways and sweet smile made all four of us feel so comfortable and excited and safe, as well! You need to know that he was remarkable and I do not think that we could ever have had a better guide! We met several others and they were very nice, but SILVER was beyond our expectations!! We all wanted to stay with him or to have him return home with us! Please let me know if there is some way that we can let him know how impressed and grateful we were for him! He made our trip phenomenal! Perhaps you can forward this e-mail to him because I believe that he works for a different company than yours. I would love his employers to know how awesome he is! His knowledge of Peru, its customs, its people, its animals, its land, its history was so strong. His respect for all people and the land meant a lot to us. He inspired us!

Thanks so much for your help in arranging our trip to Peru. It was wonderful!! We had a very warm reunion with my exchange family in Lima, visited museum of Inquisition, catacombs, and drove to Pachacamac on the way to Chilca where we spent the Sabbath. Sunday-Thursday was our trip to the selva. The flights were late, but got us to Iquitos where Amazonia Expeditions staff took care of us from the moment we got off the plane until the moment we boarded the plane back to Lima on Thursday. The organization was fantastic. I highly recommend this lodge to you for other travelers. We felt very safe and well cared for the whole time, and had some extraordinary experiences in the jungle and on the Tahuayo River as well as the Chino pueblo right downstream from the lodge. Saw pink dolphin, red poison dart frog, miniature tree frog, pygmy marmoset monkey, many birds including parrots, parrokeets, yellow flycatchers, kingfishers, toucan, also electric eel, blue butterflies, bromeliad flowers, medicinal plants, went above canopy on zip line--exciting but very safe--all tailored to our family's needs and interests with our own fantastic private guide. Food was delicious, lodge quite comfortable, very congenial atmosphere.

Thanks for the phone card--a nice extra that enabled me to call my friend in Lima to say goodbye from Iquitos.
We received all the documents from your office, which I will also recommend as highly efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable.
