Transport within the perimeter of the city of Trujillo is either with public transport, which has buses and minibuses covering specific routes, or the taxi service which, unlike other cities in Peru, is exclusively provided by yellow vehicles. There are no meters, so fares must always be settled before boarding the vehicle.
