NAZCA LINES - PARACASTYPICAL FOOD AND RESTAURANTS
The food served in the region of Ica will delight your taste, with typical aromas and flavors tempting the appetite and making every meal a pleasure.
As an entrée we recommend "Chupe de Palavers" (a thick soup made of fish, corn, rice and milk). As a main dish you will have to decide between "Morsusa" (mashed Lima beans with a kind of barbecue sauce), "Piquant de Palters" (a stew with milk, egg and cheese) or "Carapulcra" (a stew made from dried potato and pork).
For dessert you could start by trying some "Tejas" (figs, brazil nuts or lemons filled with fudge) or a butter bean dessert (butter beans boiled with milk, cinnamon, vanilla and sesame). Perhaps you would like to try our typical drink called "Cachina" (liquor made from fermented grapes), our wines or the classic Peruvian cocktail, "Pisco Sour".
However, if you do not wish to experiment with the flavors of Ica, don't worry. There are many restaurants serving international food in the city that offer a varied menu to satisfy all tastes.
