You can visit Puno city using the local route bound buses and minibuses. Don't forget to settle fares before boarding taxis. To get to the Lake Titicaca islands of Uros and Taquile, you can take motor boats. The hovercraft service is found at Puno's port area. However for security reasons we recommend you consider taking one of the many organized tours offered by local travel agencies.
