In the towns near Kuelap, you will find small restaurants, where you can taste some typical dishes of the region, specially the puturmute, which melts the taste of the mote (corn), beans, the coriander and the cecina (salt-dried meat).

There are no restaurants in the citadel or its surroundings. Only exists the old stone remains.
