The best way to arrive to Choquequirao is starting the 6 hour trip from Cusco "the center of the Andean world". Flying from Lima to Cusco takes one hour or 24 hours by bus. From the "Imperial City", the trip continues by bus or van to Cachora in Apurimac. From this small Andean community, we will walk 60 kilometers (round trip ) or ride a horse or mule.
