|Adventure in the Forest
||3 days / 2nights.
|The classic introductory tour to the Rain Forest by the Dean of the Lodges in the Tambopata area – the Explorer’s Inn, where the original scientific studies were carried out, which not only showed the amazing biodiversity of the area, but also gave the Peruvian authorities the basis for creating the Tambopata National Reserve and the Bahuaja – Sonene National Park. These studies gave rise to world records, such as those of more than 600 species of birds and over 1200 species of butterflies, all within the original 5,500 hectares area given to the Explorer’s Inn in custody. |
||7 days / 6 nights.
|The Explorer’s Inn world record of birds (more than in all of Europe or the North American continent, including Mexico, the US and Canada) were closely monitored by world famous experts of neo tropical forest birds, such as Ted Parker III and the Ridgleys. More bird species are being added on every year. A heaven for serious “twitchers” and beginners in the fascinating world of bird watching. |
|Explorer's Inn: Forest Expedition
||5 days / 4 nights.
|An unforgettable campsite on the banks of the river, before the most spectacular view in the zone: the world famous clay lick of the macaws, where literally hundreds of these colourful birds will fill the sky with their cries before landing on the wall of clay to ingest the minerals they need to balance their diet of unripe fruits, and why not, socialise a bit. The rest of the days will be spent at the lodge and in the fantastic forests on the outskirts of the Explorer's Inn. |
