PROTECTED RAINFOREST
This area was established on May 19, 1980, through Law
 (R.S.) N 0007-80-AA-DGFF. It is located in the department of Lima, province of Caņete, district of Nuevo Imperial and with a surface of 18,11 hectares. The main purpose of this area is to protect and preserve the river Caņete in order to provide water with agricultural purposes as it provides vegetables to the city of Lima.
