The “Survival Manual” that we present is a courtesy of Graña y Montero S. A., possibly the most important construction firm in Peru.

It has been developed as an assisting guide for their own workers in case they get lost in the Peruvian Amazon Forest, where they are currently developing important works.

Hence, it has been conceived rather as a memory aid for those working in that zone, who are, in general, familiar with the environment in which they develop their activities.

Therefore, it is NOT a survival guide for those individuals who are not familiar with the forest, neither for those who believe they are capable of surviving with this manual alone in such an elementary and hostile environment, and at the same time so strange to their everyday-life experience.

Consequently, nor Graña y Montero S. A. neither Enjoy Peru S. A., are responsible for individual initiatives to go into the forest believing they have their survival guaranteed with this manual.
