For its color, magnificence and convocation only comparable with that of Seville in Spain - starts on Good Friday at 7.00 p.m. with the images of the Dolorous Virgin and the Lord of Agony leaving the Church of La Magdalena in procession.
The following day, Easter Eve or Saturday of Torment, the procession of the Lord of the Vine starts out from the Church of Pampa San Agustin. In its hands, the image carries a large bunch of grapes.
On the morning of Palm Sunday there is the consecration of the flowers and palms which will be used by the congregation to symbolize the entering of Christ to Jerusalem. That same day, in the municipality courtyard, burnt wood or furze (Spanish broom) is collected for the bonfires to be lit on Easter Eve and the image of the Lord of Palms starts out from the Church of Santa Teresa. Those in the cortege carry palms finely worked by skillful craftsmen.
The processions of the Lord of the Orchard and the Lord of Judgment

take place on Holy Monday and Tuesday; the images starting out from the churches of La Buena Muerte and La Amargura respectively.
